CHEP Poland honors clients with awards for sustainable development

​​Sustainable development and ecological issues have always been important for CHEP Poland. In fact, environmental sustainability has become one of its key strategic positions. The company constantly strengthens its commitment to the environment and builds upon the image of the sustainable entrepreneur in the market. Companies that respect ecological values ​​are perceived as superior not only by consumers and local communities, but also by employees, who are the greatest assets of any business.

CHEP works closely with its customers, looking to improve the sustainability of their supply chains and develop innovative service offerings that meet their needs. Together with its partners, CHEP Poland is striving to introduce new standards in the logistics industry. As a result, pallet pooling is gaining more and more attention.

CHEP Poland not only shows its own commitment to the environment, but also encourages its partners to do so. To promote the importance of sustainable solutions in business, CHEP Poland for the first time hosted a ceremony, “EKO PARTNER CHEP 2014'' on June 11, 2014 in Warsaw, inviting its key strategic clients.

The event was an opportunity for CHEP Poland to share and celebrate with its clients an important sustainability award that the company won in a respected ecological competition this year. CHEP Poland was named “Effective & Sustainable Entrepreneur of 2013” in a competition organized by one of the leading recovery and recycling organizations, Eko CyklThe award strengthens the image of CHEP Poland as the leader in sustainable development in the market.

During the EKO Partner CHEP 2014 ceremony, CHEP Poland presented awards to 12 companies which in the past year substantially contributed to the protection of the environment through their sustainable development.

Among the companies honored by CHEP Poland were: Colgate-Palmolive (Poland) Sp. z o.o., Żywiec Zdrój S.A., Procter & Gamble Operations Polska Sp. z o.o., Hoop Polska Sp. z o.o., Refresco.Gerber Polska, Unilever Polska S.A., Reckitt Benckiser (Poland) S.A., Zakłady Tłuszczowe "Kruszwica" S.A., Delitissue Sp. z o.o., Toruń-Pacific Sp. z o.o. Cereal Partners Poland, Grupa Colian Sp. z o.o., and Reckitt Benckiser Production (Poland) Sp. z o.o.

The event was a unique opportunity not only to honor the partners for their sustainable development efforts and engage them to continue working toward additional sustainable development but also to continue building outstanding customer relationships in Poland. This was an excellent opportunity to listen to our customer's needs, understand their goals and objectives and provide practical advice, tailored to their needs.
