Welcome to a new chapter for CHEP
I’m delighted to introduce you to the new CHEP website. We see this as a symbol of an exciting step forward, the first step in redefining our customer focus in line with our renewed strategy to grow our pooling solutions business into new products, services, industries and geographies.
With new strategies there are new opportunities, and as a testament to this, our recent expansion and acquisitions in new regions and sectors have given us a broader skill base to deliver value to customers globally.
We’re evolving who we are, and we’re looking to our customers with refreshed focus, engaging with them in all markets. We decided to start this new CHEP era by interviewing senior executives from all industries, to get definitive answers on how we can deliver better value to them in the retail, consumer goods, aerospace, automotive, fresh food and logistics industries.
We received great feedback, and one of the common points was the importance of future industry engagement. We understand that in rapidly changing operating environments, there’s increasing competition and pressure to find new efficiencies. And we know that our customers want to talk to us as industry experts, about where businesses are headed, and the logistics issues they encounter. You look to us for our industry insights into solving key business problems, and we’re working eagerly on plans to develop our insight-sharing capabilities throughout CHEP , so we can give back to you.
Our new website is only a small step in this process, but it’s an important one, and a mark of what CHEP is today, and how we can help you. I have dealt firsthand with many of the challenges organisations face through their supply chains, so I am taking a personal interest in watching our new industry solutions-based approach launch with the website.
